Fort Baker: An Iconic San Francisco Engagement Session

When we chatted about an engagement session, Ellinor and Tim said they wanted some iconic San Francisco shots.  And honestly, what is better for that than the Golden Gate Bridge?  But before we get there, how great is their apartment... and look at the view from the balcony!

Oh, AND they drive a smart car around the city...

But my favorite shots from this shoot were taken at Fort Baker, which has a great view of the bridge.  I love that Ellinor's hair is blowing in the wind AND that the bridge is disappearing in the clouds... how much more SF can you get?

Fort Baker is home to some pretty spectacular eucalyptus trees.

Ellinor and Tim were so fun to shoot. They were literally laughs and giggles all day long, which made for really sweet photos. I am so excited to capture their wedding in May.

A Perfect Malibu Wedding: Hillary & Lauren

Hillary & Lauren's wedding in Malibu was simply perfect.  They were married at a private estate that showcased stunning ocean views, mini ponies and fresh lavender.  Their wedding was featured earlier this year on my blog as the Real Simple Wedding Magazine feature. It was such a beautiful wedding, it was also featured on Style Me Pretty (the ultimate wedding blog). The wedding was so beautiful, I wanted to show a few more photos of the day.  

I love that Hillary & Lauren met rock climbing... such a fun, unique story. 

They were both incredibly relaxed-- their main goal was to have a fun party.  I love these quiet shots before they saw each other for the first time. 

Bash, Please really did an exquisite job on the event design.  I absolutely love the bouquets. They fit the mood of the wedding perfectly. My favorite part is the sprigs of rosemary.  

The chuppah featured a vintage curtain from Hillary's grandmother's house. 

They were married at the edge of the estate, overlooking the pacific. 

How cute are all the flower girls? 

The estate was gorgeous and allowed us to capture some really private, romantic shots.

Heirloom LA set the party off with thyme-lemonade and delicious appetizers.

Love the simplicity of the menus and the table-scapes. 

Everyone had a great time at the reception-- and look how gorgeous those lanterns are. The cakes were not traditional wedding cakes, but from their favorite bakery, Magnolia. 

Thank you Hillary & Lauren for letting me be a part of your wedding. You guys were a delight to shoot-- it couldn't have been easier! And thank you to the great teamwork of vendors involved.
